2007 Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast |
||||||||||
![]() This Chardonnay was produced in a lively, crisp style that emphasizes varietal fruit character. We achieve this by combining modern cold fermentation with traditional French Burgundian aging techniques. It draws its structure and spice from Chardonnay grown on our own Estate vineyards in the Carneros region of the Sonoma Valley. The cool Carneros microclimate contributes a spicy bouquet, citrus and tropical fruit flavors and good acidity for depth and balance. The blend is rounded out by elegant, buttery textures and ripe flavors of pear and peach which comes from Chardonnay grown in the warmer reaches of Sonoma Valley. Try it as an elegant aperitif paired with hors d'oeuvres, or lighter dishes such as soups, salads, seafood and pasta. Customers enjoy 10% off regular or mixed case purchases. Heritage Club members enjoy 20% off wine purchases (excluding Library wines and large format bottles) BEST OF CLASS - 2009 S.F. Chronicle Wine Competition |
